Tis the season for macros friendly desserts and snacks!
{Vegan, Added Sugar Free, High Protein, Nut Free, Gluten Free}
You will need:
Spoon or spatula
Parchment paper
Small mixing bowl
Measuring cups and spoons
Ingredients: (Links below for specifics)*
1/2 cup or 55 grams Vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp or 20 grams Coconut flour
10 ml or 1 tbsp Olive oil*
4-5 tbsp Water*
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp Butter extract (vegan), optional
1/4 tsp Almond extract, optional
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp or 12 grams Sprinkles (vegan)
Instructions:
In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients together.
The mixture should not be too wet that it sticks all over your hands or too dry that the dough does not stick together.
Roll the protein dough into 10-12 even balls (I made 11) and place onto parchment paper.
Add extra sprinkles on top for decoration.
Store the protein bites in the fridge!
Notes:
I used Purely Inspired's french vanilla vegan protein powder
I used Trader Joe's vegan Valentine's Day sprinkles
You can use plant milk over water
You can use apple sauce or a runny nut butter instead of oil for an oil free version
